Issue 19

Issue 19 Cover - English.png

Dear reader,

Ward is constantly evolving. Although Ward initially started as a space to display artwork, we recognize its role as an independent platform in the Gulf that is capable of providing different educational resources and outlets for all members of the community it has been cultivating since its (digital) launch in 2017 through a book club, workshops, and active community engagement.

Ward is launching two new segments that you will see in Issue 19 that reinforce these integral values to Ward’s vision.

Warmly,

Khaed Alqahtani

Founder and Editor-in-Chief

Submit to our upcoming issues!

We release two types of issues: General Issues and Themed Issues. General Issues are released monthly and submissions for them are accepted (literally) 24/7. Themed Issues are released every 3 months and the deadlines for them are announced on our website and social media accounts.

General Issues

We believe that art does not come in one shape or medium or background. We invite artists whose backgrounds and upbringing are specific to Saudi to submit to our General Issues. Regardless of age, nationality, or background, you are welcome to submit your work at anytime for our monthly General Issues for free here.
